But a good week in a way, too. It started out with Rachel being sick. Turns out she got strep. Again. I'm starting to think that EVERY strep test she takes is going to come back positive, whether she has strep or not! =] She's not really even had a fever, her throat isn't too red and her tonsils aren't white a pus-filled and she has a cough. Odd!
She was home from school Wednesday and Thursday. Friday morning she decided she was feeling well enough to go to school for the Halloween party and parade. She went out to check the bunny quick before we left for school, wasn't wearing shoes and dropped a table on her big toe. It looks like she painted her toenail blue. It's nasty! So she had to do her Halloween parade hopping around the school. I'm not sure how she is going trick-or-treating tonight...maybe we will pull her in the wagon! Her doctor wanted us to get x-rays, but I think it's fine. Sore, but fine. =] They said in a few days if the pressure gets too bad, we can go in to the doctor's office and they will drill a little hole in the toe nail to release the pressure. =[
On a happy note, Megan got her ears pierced yesterday! She was so excited! Last time we tried, it was SO miserable. She cried and cried and was too scared. We got one done, but she refused to do the other one. So we had to pull out the one we did and let the hole close up. It was awful. So I was quite apprehensive when she told me that she wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. But she did great! She didn't cry or anything! And after a few minutes, she was just fine. She is doing a great job taking care of them, too!

Are those hello kitty studs? Way classy. =)
Yupper! I had no idea they had Hello Kitty studs! =] They look pretty stylin' on her!
Sorry it was such a crappy week. That toe looks miserable but the earrings are really cute. Hope this week is better. Love to all.
yeah, the earrings are adorable! She looks so happy! That toe looks ouchy but I'm guessing Rachel managed to get herself some Halloween trick or treat candy?
You might want to get her tonsils taken out. We had bout after bout of strep with Andrew. He never got fevered or looked bad, he just got kind of onery. We would take him to the doctor and they would laugh at us and say they didn't think he had strep. We would INSIST that they check him anyway and it would always come back positive. He hasn't had it since. The other kids have been similar as well.
