Fun Times on a Saturday

We were bored today, and it was SUCH a beautiful day.  So we loaded the kids in the car and headed to the Uintas.  This is the first year in a LONG time that we haven't been up there in the summer.  We almost always go.  So we went.  It was beautiful!  The leaves were gorgeous on the way up.  The weather was perfect.

We stopped first at the Provo Falls, and we didn't even need jackets.  There was so little water in the river, compared to when we go in the summer, that it was a whole new experience!  We were able to walk out on the rocks where the river usually is.  It was so much fun!

Then we loaded back into the van and headed up to Moosehorn.  It was MUCH colder up there, and the wind was blowing.  We all needed jackets.  We took some great pictures and enjoyed a walk around the lake to our favorite camp site.  As we were leaving, Rachel noticed a cloud that looked exactly like a squirrel.  It's even smiling!  :)  (I took two pictures less than thirty seconds apart and in one the squirrel is not smiling and in the next one he was...!)

It was such a fun end to summer!  (Or fall, as the case may be!)

There are wonderful pictures but I really love the one with the girls walking away. Classic. Glad you had a good day.

Sounds like an adventure. We have been doing a lot more of that since we have been up here. I think it makes great memories for the kids. Way to go.
