Wow! It's MARCH!!

November Recap (Even though December is almost over!)

Sheesh!  How does it manage to get so late so fast!  It's incredible to me.  The closer I get to 40, the faster time seems to go!  (And I'm really, really close to 40!)  Thought I would post a little of what has been going on at our house this month.

First we had a birthday girl!  Can't believe my baby just turned 10!  Craziness!

 

Then Rachel got to go on a field trip to Thanksgiving Point.  They did all kinds of fun things!

Then we had Thanksgiving (Or PIE Day!)  It was nice having my whole family together (minus Mark and his cute family in Alaska...missed you guys!)

And I LOVE this picture of Mom and Dad!  Aren't they cute!

We had Thanksgiving with James' family the next day!  I love that they are so willing to have Thanksgiving late!  It makes the holiday so much nicer!

Then we had the baptism of my cute niece Kammryn.  (Yes, I realize it was in December, but I'm going to catch up!)

I have to tell you this cute story about Kamm and her big brother Zach.  We were walking down the hall at the church after the baptism.  I heard Zach asking Kamm "So, did you feel the Holy Ghost?"  I thought it was so sweet of him!  So I had James take a picture of them walking down the hallway!

Then we had Rachel's choir concert.  I love that she is in choir.  She has a most beautiful voice!  I love to hear her sing.

Then the little girls had their concerts.  On different nights.  Odd, but strangely nice.  It is always so crowded there when they do them all together.  I got volunteered to play the piano for kindergarten and 1st grade.  Kinda fun.  Not as stressful as it used to be!  :)

Then Megan had a dance concert of sorts.  She has been taking ballroom this year and loving it!  She's so cute!

Oh!  And I've been watching a little boy in our ward a couple days a week, usually just for an hour or so.  Kinda fun!  His name is Dylan and he is usually adorable!  (Although he DOES have a set of lungs!)

And there you go!  All caught up!  Next month should be interesting.  I'm having my gall bladder out on the 14th of January.  Should be fun.  Not really, but it will be good.  I'm so tired of not feeling good!  Although on a happier note, I've lost 16 pounds since Thanksgiving!  Yay!  I realize it won't always come off this fast (and I'm sure having the flu for a few days helped with the weight loss!) but it's sure been nice!  I'm hoping I can keep it up!  I'm sorta liking this trend!

October Highlights

 Some October highlights.

September

Since September is almost over, I guess it is time to update the blog.  :)  September has been super busy at our house.  The girls started school the end of August.  It's been great!  They are all doing well and enjoying their teachers and school in general.  (We had student led conferences this week...we have awesome girls!)

I've been working all month.  A school in Herriman called me and asked if I could fill in for a lady that had just had surgery.  I've worked every day since school started (except for one Monday...)  It's been crazy!  I don't know how people do it.  I love working while my kids are in school.  That part has been great.  But it cuts out a huge part of my day without them.  By the time I drop them off for school, shower and eat breakfast it's just about time to leave for work.  And then I get home about a half an hour before I have to go get them.  :(  I'm sure gonna enjoy this paycheck though!

The girls started piano lessons at the beginning of the month.  So far it's been going good.  They are taking lessons for a girl in our ward.  She's 15 I think and adorable with the girls.  They all really like her and are learning a lot.  (If only they would practice more!)
