July So Far

Earlier in the month we took a trip to Murray Park to take some pictures of the flooding.
The river was crazy full!

The cement you see in the background is actually the road that goes over the river.  The two things on each side in the foreground are the two supports for the bridge that went across, but they had (wisely!) taken the bridge out so it wouldn't wash away.

These are trees along the bank of the river.

Another one of the road and bridge...

When we were finished looking at the water, the girls climbed up a huge hill and rolled down.

Dan and Annie asked us to watch Titan for them one night while they ran to the temple.  What fun!  My girls had so much fun!  They each got to hold him and love him and feed him.  Thanks for trusting us with him!

And here are a few of my favorite Rockport pictures.

We tried to get Sadie used to the water.  She would go in, but she didn't like it much when she couldn't reach the bottom!  :)  And with the water as high as it was this year, there was no beach.  So pretty much as soon as you stepped into the water, it got deep.

Every afternoon there it gets really windy - from about 1 until 6 or so.  It's crazy.  Loved Kay's hair here.

My feet got a little bit of a tan...!

There were lots of thistles and cactus blooming this trip

And here's one of all of us right before we left (you'd think we would remember to take the picture BEFORE we had been camping for three days...oh well!)

Anyway, that's pretty much our July so far!

Hahahahah! I love your foot tan line :) Too funny. I look like I'm wearing slippers (flip flops) all the time because of my tan line :P

That flooding is NUTS!

Your flower photos are gorgeous. I'm going to show them to Willy when he gets home. He loves taking nature pics like that, with a preference for macro shots :)

I'm so glad you think to take your camera - you will have a lifetime of memories. You are such good photographers - love the flowers but mostly my girls and the tan line but after three days of camping it could be dirtline. Love you all.
